Cat Intake Request Form

If you would like to contact us about a domestic cat that needs to be placed for adoption, we invite you to fill out this form. We are a cage-free adoption center, so the cat must be friendly and able to live with other cats. We do not trap cats and we do not take feral cats. The cat's owner or guardian must be able to bring the cat at a scheduled intake appointment time.

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a privately run, limited admission adoption center. Please know that we get many more requests to intake cats than we have the capacity for. We help as many cats and kittens as we can. We recommend you contact multiple rescues.

Complete one form for each cat. All fields with a red * must be completed.

Submitting this form does not guarantee that Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions will be able to take in the cat. A member of our team will review each request. If a cat is accepted into our rescue, a team member will contact you to schedule an intake appointment.

There is a required intake fee of $100 per adult cat, and $100-300 per litter of kittens.

If you answered No, stop here and take the cat(s) to The Animal Foundation or the Henderson shelter, call Animal Control, or contact other rescues. Homeward Bound is not a shelter and cannot take cats on short notice.

Fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, vaccinations, testing, and other medical treatments. Some cats need dental care or surgery. I hereby forever release, discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions, its volunteers and agents from all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, or liability of any kind whatsoever arising as a result of, or in connection with, the adoption or other disposition of the cat described above.

Upon signing this agreement, the owner hereby irrevocably and unconditionally transfers full ownership of this cat to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions (HBCA).
