Cat Intake Request Form

If you would like to contact us about a domestic cat that needs to be placed for adoption, we invite you to fill out this form. We are a cage-free adoption center, so the cat must be friendly and able to live with other cats. We do not trap cats and we do not take feral cats. The cat's owner or guardian must be able to bring the cat at a scheduled intake appointment time.

Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a privately run, limited admission adoption center. Please know that we get many more requests to intake cats than we have the capacity for. We help as many cats and kittens as we can. We recommend you contact multiple rescues.

Complete one form for each cat. All fields with a red * must be completed.

Submitting this form does not guarantee that Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions will be able to take in the cat. A member of our team will review each request. If a cat is accepted into our rescue, a team member will contact you to schedule an intake appointment.

There is a required intake fee of $100 per adult cat, and $100-300 per litter of kittens.

If you've found a stray cat, chances are it's someone's beloved pet. The owner may be anxiously waiting to hear from you. Take the cat to any veterinary clinic to be scanned for a microchip. Post flyers, ask neighbors, and share on social media to try to reunite the cat with it's owner.

We do not go out into the community and pick up cats/kittens. We do not have a veterinary clinic. If you see cats/kittens needing immediate help, try these resources:

If you answered No, stop here and take the cat(s) to The Animal Foundation or the Henderson shelter, call Animal Control, or contact other rescues. Homeward Bound is not a shelter and cannot take cats on short notice.
