She is vaccinated, including rabies vaccine, is microchipped, and is dewormed. She has also been treated for ear mites and is spayed.

She would love to be able to run around and play in a forever home. Unfortunately, Copper and her sister, Yukon, both tested positive for FeLV (feline leukemia virus). This means that they need to find a home that has only vaccinated cats or no other cats. FeLV is contagious to cats and kittens, but not to other animals. Some animals with FeLV live long, healthy lives. Others may die earlier from complications of the virus. Copper has recently reunited with her sister, Yukon, who is also FeLV positive. It would be great if the two can be adopted together.

Copper - 22-09-0725

Female Cat aged 1 year.

Copper is a beautiful long-haired dilute tortoiseshell young adult cat likely born around July 4, 2022. She was brought into ACAT with little human interaction and took some time to become comfortable with her foster family and their visitors. Copper LOVES to play and is often found in her large kennel room jumping and running and playing with her toys. If she sees her foster mom or dad interacting with other cats and kittens in her foster home, she cries for attention and runs around trying to pull the attention to her. She is also very fond of her dehydrated chicken treats. She has a routine with her foster mom at bedtime. As soon as she hears "brush" she assumes a pose on top of her cat tree and waits to be brushed. Her sister immediately poses as well, and the two vie for attention with the brush and petting.

She is vaccinated, including rabies vaccine, is microchipped, and is dewormed. She has also been treated for ear mites and is spayed.
