Archimedes - 22-11-021

Male Cat aged Teen.

Archimedes is a black cat with HUGE yellow eyes — so much that he looks like an owl (he was named for Merlin's owl in "The Sword in the Stone"). Archimedes is a sleek house panther with mad, mad climbing and jumping skills. He was born outside during the summer of 2022. He and his sister (Twyla) were found living under a deck in Sand Lake and rescued in early winter. Due to his early experiences, Archimedes is still coming to the realization that people are ok. He is wary, and often hides, but can be coaxed out with treats and the wand. Once in the open, he loves pets and treats, and occasionally tummy rubs from that special someone. Because of his love of treats and his agility, an owner that puts in the time could teach him some impressive tricks. Archimedes will need a quiet home and patient owner to make him feel at ease. He is interested in other cats and will need a cat buddy in his new home. Archimedes has been dewormed, is microchipped, negative on leukemia test, and has received his first-year shots. He is fostering in south Anchorage with his sister. To learn more about Archimedes, fill out ACAT's pre-adoption application online.
