Shaggy, born around May 7, 2023 came to ACAT as a terrified kitten in July. He has turned into an awesome cat. He is still a little jumpy when surprised, but enjoys play, pets and especially food. Shaggy is a lovely solid black kitty. He has a luxurious dense coat and gorgeous green eyes.
Shaggy is a sweet and brave cat. He loves feather wand toys, and furry mice. He enjoys wresting with the other cats in his foster home, and while takes a bit to warm up after his rough start he has become an awesome companion. Shaggy should have another friendly kitty in his forever home. Shaggy has a sweet chirpy meow and, while he doesn’t like to be picked up, he loves to be near people and has an awesome purr. Overall, Shaggy has gone from timid to sweet, friendly and affectionate.
Shaggy is neutered, has been dewormed and received his kitten vaccines. He has been vaccinated for rabies, microchipped, and FIV tested negative. Shaggy has an occasional cough and sometimes gets out of breath after exercise. We suspect he has asthma, but as his overall health has been otherwise good he has not required treatment to date.
