Adira is an altered, female tuxedo teen kitten with medium-long hair. Adira's estimated date of birth is November 1, 2023.
Adira was found on Christmas, outside in the cold, all by herself, crying. She was hungry, cold, and very scared. Based on her fear of people we are quite certain she was born and raised outside, hadn't been around humans, and just done her best to survive until she was found and rescued.
Adira has made amazing progress since she arrived in foster care. She is still learning to trust people, but she doesn't run and hide anymore. She loves to nap on the cat tower and enjoys pets. She is a bit nervous but will push her head against your hand and purr away. She is just not comfortable being carried around and will need some help with that.
She has also learned that the big friendly Golden Retrievers in the home are not dangerous. Adira is very fond of the other cats and kittens in the foster home. She will play with younger kittens but is more comfortable rumbling with animals similar to her age. They seem to make her feel secure and that boosts her self-confidence. Her favorite playmate is Phileas, another tuxedo foster kitten who is about the same age.
This little cutie is looking for a loving forever home with parents who will be patient with her. Maybe a quieter home would be more suitable and if there is another friendly cat, or cats in the home Adira would probably love that.
Adira has been dewormed and has received her kitten vaccines. She is spayed, microchipped and has received her 1st rabies vaccine.
